Be skeptical! Absolutely! Where’s the line?
Due to the blow up about Kony, so many accusations and controversies have developed. It’s not to say that we shouldn’t criticize, but why so harshly on people that are simply trying to make the world a better place? Of course I saw the video. Of course I looked up on other websites the information to confirm the organizations claims. But of course, I have no problem sacrificing $30 to help in any way that I can. Yes, I have helped at soup kitchens, donated to charity and given money to those living on the street. So no, I did not financially support the organization for popularity, in order keep up in pop culture or social media.
That being said… No charity or organization is perfect. And no one is perfect. So why are we criticizing the people who are trying to help or make a difference? Because they chose to support or donate to an organization that might not preferentially be more deserving than another organization? The negativity has turned into attacks and accusations of fraudulence when instead the energy could be put into an organization that has gotten your approval. If negativity is your route then stick to being negative about negative things.
If you don’t like it, don’t support it. But you don’t need to shove your negative point of view down my Facebook news feed, tumblr dashboard, or twitter feed.
Love this! Alway say yes, go with your gut, take all opportunities, give and be a better person! Good luck will find you.
I have never spent $30 so quickly.
Typically, when I see commercials asking for donations, I become very skeptical in how much of what I give would go to the child or animal itself. After watching the KONY video, I immediately pulled out my wallet. $30 to help kids, stop bad men, feel like you’re making a difference, and you feel like you’re a part of something. “Cover the Night” is coming up and who would want to miss out on the excitement? Who doesn’t want to put up at least one poster or wear one of the bracelets for maybe a week?

Spray for Signal?
I’ll believe it when I see it! Gag gift at its finest or the future of hairspray! I can see the branding now: Turn that dull and lifeless hair instantly into a sexy bee hive antenna on top of your head while supplying signal to your iPad!
Getting a good signal for your wireless devices can almost always prove to be tricky. Depending on various factors including your location, cell towers, your mobile device and it’s antenna can all play a factor into getting a signal or no signal at all. I can think of one carrier that has had lots of signal issues *cough AT&T cough*.
Teacup piggies! I wanted one too until I did a little research…

What are teacup pigs?
Micro, nano, teacup, mini, pocket pigs. It’s really all the same. Typically of the potbellied breed, the smaller version isn’t so small after all.
Why are they so small?
Many animals, like donkeys, do not have a sensor to tell them when their stomachs are full. Therefore, their eyes are always bigger than their stomachs. To maintain good health, the animals must be fed certain amounts so that they are not too over or underweight. Teacup pigs are simply underweight pigs. They maintain the small size by not being fed large amounts. If they are well fed then they will grow and could be 100 pounds more than you expected your piggie to grow to.
So what?
Since mini pigs are underfed, they are malnourished. These pigs will live only 5 or 6 years. Its sad! I know! It gets worse… They only live 5 or 6 years because their organs will outgrow their insides resulting in death.
More?!
Well how could you not fall in love with the pictures of mini pigs we see on Pinterest, Google, Facebook etc. But how many pictures have you seen of these mini pigs when they are full grown? The pictures are typically newborn pigs. So lets have some skepticism. Waiting for your teacup pig is like waiting for your Hogwarts letter to arrive. So hopeful, yet so disappointing.
um, what?!
What will they be able to make disappear next?
If they advance exponentially like computer and social media has, maybe in a year I’ll be able to make money reappear!

Whoa.
Polaroid just announced they’ll be releasing a 16MP “smart camera” that’ll run Android on it!
You’ll be able to play with photo apps, connect to WiFi, edit in-camera, and all that jazz.
Polaroid magic but all for Android?
Ok Apple. Step it up. You’ve got some bigger demands coming your way.
Flawless skin and all the beauty secrets in this video! I really love the approach of the video. How many times do you see a beauty commercial and say “yep I bought that product but it didn’t work on me” or you see a before and after picture and say “hmm I bought that mascara and yeah it kindof made my eyelashes look longer but where’s the instant tan and teeth whitener that I saw on the commercial?”. Photoshop. The only real beauty secret without side effects!
Once they’ve done more studies, when should I expect an app for that? I think we all know that we won’t buy more devices with our current smartphones. Will we buy accessories? Absolutely! I’ll need the finger scanner attachment for my iPhone once they can really predict my lifespan. But… In actuality… I’m not so sure I do want to know when I am predicted to die. I like surprises. And if I did know, I would try everything in my power to live at least one day longer than the prediction.
